Cream Silk Blend Kalamkari Print Saree with Red Zari Border

A cream ground carries the Kalamkari print here, with peacocks perched on lotus leaves, pink lotus buds and vines running across the whole saree. Round medallions show peacocks in full colour against yellow and pink backgrounds, which gives the drape a painted look rather than a busy one.

The red zari border and matching red pallu frame the print with a gold woven edge, and red tassels hang from the end of the pallu. It suits a traditional puja, a family function or a wedding party, and pairs well with oxidised jhumkas as worn in the model photos.
