Heritage Banarasi Kovai Rettapet Border Saree

This aqua saree is woven in Banarasi silk, with a fine check pattern across the body and small gold-toned motifs set between the squares. Floral Kalamkari digital print runs over the field and the pallu, with lotus blooms, leaves and small fish drawn in red, orange, purple and cream tones.

The wide border in royal blue carries zari paisleys and a temple-style Kovai Rettapet edge, and the blue pallu ends in tassels. It suits festive evenings, pooja, weddings and family functions, and pairs well with gold or oxidised silver jewellery and a contrast blouse.
