Olive Mustard Dhakai Jamdani Silk Saree

Mustard is the colour this saree is built around, a warm ochre ground that glows in lamplight and sits well with the marigold tones of festive days. Across it run fine Jamdani-style motifs in green, pink, purple and white, joined by vine-like scrolls that spread from the body to the borders.

The border carries a chevron pattern in green, and the pallu opens into panels of tree-like motifs in green and pink, finished with purple tassels that swing as you walk. The light cotton silk base keeps the drape easy through a long evening.
