Yellow Banarasi Silk Kalamkari Print Saree with Red Zari Border

Soft Banarasi silk in a pale yellow base carries a Kalamkari style print of lotus flowers, buds, leaves and dotted seed pods, outlined in fine black lines. The deep red border and pallu frame the print, and the gold zari woven pallu gives the saree its festive edge. The print is applied as a digital design, so the colours stay clear and even from the pleats right down to the hem.

The silk drapes softly, which suits a haldi, a wedding function or an evening party. Pair it with oxidised or gold jewellery and a warm tan clutch, as shown in the photos, to bring out the yellow and red tones.
