Traditional Kalamkari Pattu Banarasi Silk Saree

This cream and red saree combines a Kalamkari print on Soft Banarasi Silk, with birds, leaves and florals in orange, green, pink and maroon spread across the body. The red border and pallu carry gold-toned woven motifs, so the print and the border work together. The fabric drapes softly and sits easily on the body through a long day of functions.

Wear it to weddings, festive pujas, sangeet evenings or family parties. Gold or kundan jewellery suits it well, and a green potli bag picks up the leaves in the print. Steam or iron on a cool setting and keep it folded in a cloth bag away from direct sun.
