Cream soft Banarasi silk carries Kalamkari-style figures printed in blue, red, yellow and green, with a red border and a pallu finished in woven gold zari. The painted scenes run from the blouse area down the drape, so the pallu panel stays a clear feature when it falls over the shoulder.

Wear it for a festive evening, a family wedding or a puja, and pair it with gold or oxidised jewellery, which picks up the zari and the warm tones of the print. The red tassels at the pallu end add movement as you walk. The 0.80 metre blouse piece is unstitched, so it can be tailored to your fit.
