Grey Kalamkari Pattu Banarasi Silk Saree

A soft sky blue ground sets this saree apart from the usual pattern of pattu sarees. Across the body and pallu, a Kalamkari print carries scenes of figures, huts, flowers and painted borders in yellow, pink, coral and green, so every fold reveals another scene.

The coral red border and pallu carry gold zari work, and the satin-like sheen of the silk brings the print forward in the light. The red keeps the look warm against the pale blue, which makes it a good choice for a family function or a festive evening.

Pair it with gold or pearl jewellery and a simple red or gold blouse. Tassels hang from the end of the pallu and add movement when you walk.
