Majestic Ghicha Weave Kalamkari Saree

This sage green saree is built on a soft tussar base with a ghicha weave that gives a fine, slightly textured surface. Kalamkari-style motifs of flowers, leaves and vines are drawn inside panels outlined in teal blue, and the colour moves through soft green, cream and peach across the body, so the drape looks calm and fresh rather than heavy.

The fine gold zari border runs along both edges and the pallu ends in cotton thread tassels. It suits a daytime puja, a family function or a festive evening, and pairs well with a plain black blouse, silver jewellery and a simple bindi. The piece comes as a 5.5 metre saree with a 0.80 metre blouse piece.
