Pink Katan Silk Ikkat Saree

This hot pink Banarasi Katan Silk Saree has a soft satin-like sheen and a scatter of small bandhani style dot motifs across the body, picked out in fine gold zari. The wide border and pallu carry an ikat inspired pattern in blue, yellow and orange, set against an olive green band that gives the whole piece a striking contrast.

The pallu sits in the same olive green with gold zari weaving, so the drape looks rich from the front and from the back. Pair it with gold or oxidised jewellery and a plain pink or green blouse to bring out the colours in the border. It suits festive occasions and weddings, where its bright body and zari detailing stand out.
