This dupatta is cut from Poly Chiffon, chosen because it falls softly rather than holding a rigid shape across the shoulder. The border and pallu detailing are worked by hand at our Surat workshop. Poly Chiffon takes a pleat neatly and keeps it through hours of a function. Deliberately restrained, so it layers under heavier pieces without fighting them, and finished well enough to carry something plain on its own. Every piece is looked over before it's folded and packed for you. Restraint is the point on a piece like this.
