Red Zigzag Dharmavaram Silk Saree with Kanchi Zari Border

This red saree carries a gold zigzag chevron weave that runs across the body in bands of red, orange-gold and gold tones. The zari shimmers as the light moves over the folds, so the saree looks rich under lamps at a wedding or a puja.

The wide border is woven in gold with paisley and floral motifs on a red ground, and the same red runs along the edge of the saree. Small diamond shaped motifs are scattered over the body, which keeps the zigzag from feeling heavy.
