Yellow Mal Cotton Pen Kalamkari Saree

Mustard yellow ground carries a dense trail of kalamkari flowers, with cream and grey-green blooms, pink tulip buds and small teal rosettes climbing in vertical vines across the body of the saree. The border is printed in maroon, green and cream, with rows of peacocks and paisley-like birds among small flowers, and the red pallu carries framed panels of small figures and motifs.

The mal cotton is breathable and lightweight, so the drape stays comfortable through a long day. Pair it with a plain cream or gold blouse and simple jhumkas for a puja, a family function or a festive lunch.
